How do you choose the right glove for the task at hand?
Follow this general guideline to assist in the process:
- Evaluate the conditions to which you will subject the glove and any chemicals handled.
- Determine the types of physical contact such as:
- sharp objects
- abrasion
- temperature
- contact duration
- Choose the glove with the highest rating for chemical and physical conditions.
- Determine application needs, i.e. dexterity, grip and color.
